What is Island Life Like?

Ever wonder what it is like to live on a little island - that is not a real island?
Well, hop on over to Second Floor Living and catch up on a guest post where I talk about "Owning My City!"

xo

PS - What do you love about your City?
PPS - There won't be a Thankful Thursday for the next two Thursdays as I will be traversing around Europe :)

Sheila, have safe travels and take lots and lots of pictures! If by any chance you come by Lake Constance let me know ;-)

Anna :

My city is mediocre. I guess the thing I love most is meeting and getting to know GOOD AND DECENT citizens who are actively trying to make a difference in their community. That's the kind of person I'd like to be. (I loved reading your guest post! I totally want to be a 'regular' somewhere!)
have fun in freaking europe. :D

Sheila@TheFailteHouse :

Hi Kristina! Thanks so much ( I still owe you an email!) and where is that lake?

Lisamarie :

I love that my city has a very small time feel. I love that the city planners are keeping true to its rural roots. I love streets lined with mature eucalyptus trees. I love hills. Lots and lots of hills. I love canyon breezes. I love that I can get to the beach rather quickly... and to Vegas in not too much time either!

Simply Splendid LOVE :

You're going to Europe??? How awesome! For sure, take lots of pictures girl! I love my city too. Dallas is so great. Lots to see, do and the shopping is great. Have a super fun trip!!!

p.s. I loved your guest post!

Taylor :

Yes, I have wondered! :) checking it out now!

Kristina :

Sheila-There is time for that email once you are back from your trip :) That lake is technically on the border of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You probably won't come by because of what you told me about your itinerary you won't go that far up north in Austria to hit it. But because I would really like to meet you I thought I would include it anyway ;-)
Enjoy your time! You are lucky there is a heatwave rollin' in so the weather should be great while you are here :)

Kristin :

Ahhhh!!!! You're going to Europe Sheila! How exciting! If you won't have time to do that guest post for me, I understand...don't know when you're leaving, but just let me know if it's too much, ok? Hope you have a wonderful trip! Off to go read your guest post now...

Liesl :

What a wonderful thought indeed! I think what I love about my city right now is the energy and possibility of it all! :)

Sheila,
Thank you so much for your comment on my blog post yesterday! The support has been amazing!

Also, thank you for your email! It was so nice of you to take the time to write all of that out for me! I will definitely have more questions and once I have the time to go out and take some picture, I will send some your way (if you don't mind!)

Thanks again! :)

xx Lynzy

Fellow floridian :) I'm so glad to have found your blog! I'm your newest follower!

That's really cool that you live on an island! I live in the Tampa bay area and love being so close to the water. I'm literally 5 minutes away!
